Around the Terzo Bronzo di Riace hovers the legend of a find that ended with the sale of the piece abroad. It is not clear whether this is a half-truth, but history teaches us about the region’s treasures. In addition to the archaeological finds, one of the most precious things about this land is its important biodiversity, its indigenous food products. One of these is the PDO liquorice of Calabria, which is often counterfeited and sold off on the market. The decision to call the liqueur Terzo Bronzo is intended to denounce the wealth stolen from this magnificent land.
